North Asheville Walk

This afternoon I walked from city's edge at Elkmont Drive and Merrimon Avenue into town along Merrimon, beside Beaver Lake, and past the strip shopping centers south of Beaver Lake. At Gracelyn I turned left into an old North Asheville neighborhood, to visit a colleague's house for a drink of water (the afternoon was bright and hot), then back to Merrimon. I continued my journey south to Edgewood Road, where I turned right, walked to UNC-Asheville, and found my office in Zageir Hall.
