Asheville seems to have the right balance of scale for me having been raised in the wooded areas of Virginia. The desert and many open places out west, even with mountains, unbalances my scale - i seem too overshadowed by the spaciousness, the very amount of AIR. The Grand Canyon did this to me - i felt like there was a huge volume of air - not refreshing, but dense, too much OF it. I've also been in 'jungly' environments where i seem too large for myself, where there's not enough air - not enough space.<BR/><BR/>Just one of those things when reading your blog makes me think.zenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07868598666930002690noreply@blogger.com
